Founded in 2011, Isinay Foods Restaurant has been surviving the challenges in the Business World of Food Industry. The owners, Edwin Lucas and Rosana Lamoste with their only son Erick Lucas and sister Nelly Lucas are the ones who are helping each other to work together to be able to serve the growing amount of customers they are now serving on a daily basis. Although the location is not being recognize by many consumers at the moment, it really helped a lot when a newly dedicated Church of Christ Chapel closeby and the members have recognized their specialties in Filipino and Canadian food that are being serve freshly cooked as being ordered by individuals.

Isinay Foods Restaurant is doing their best to utilize the traditional filipino hospitality to their regular customers. They are open for suggestions from their customers and they are providing the most welcoming service that their customers feel like they are eating in their very own home kitchen.
I decided to spend a few days with Rosana to be able to do some observation on how their customers are liking their dishes. More and more customers are coming back when they experience their home cooked meals with affordable prices of dishes from $1.50 deliciously grilled pork or chicken barbecue sticks to their party platters up to $40 per party trays depending on the type of dish that are ordered. The common parking spots in the vicinity are sometimes full due to the customers coming in an out to eat their specialties. Mostly filipinos are familiar with their dishes like Kare Kare, Lumpiang Shanghai, Pork or Chicken Adobo, Fish, Pork or Shrimp Sinigang and other familiar filipino dishes. They also serve coffee or tea with their breakfast, lunch and dinner orders. I have also noticed that what ever dish they have cooked for the day, the customers will just ask them to put together a complete breakfast, lunch or dinner plate to setup with side order of soup that comes free and the customers are happy. As you all know, filipinos are familiar with Steamed Rice, or Fried Garlic Rice with (ulam) vegetables or meat side dish to eat with the rice and small bowl of soup and we are happy with the charged amount of just $6.99 or $7.99. Their servings are generous enough to make you so full and satisfy your taste buds. Enclosed photo (Sweet Rice Turon) is one of the famous desserts that is best with coffee.

WHAT IF.......?

It all started with a simple thought of, What if I can contribute to the young businesses during the recession times when they cannot afford the expenses of advertising their business with little or no cost to them? Consumers would like to save money on their necessities or their treatment for themselves after a long hard work, they would like to save money on a once in a while family get together to eat out, they would like to treat their pets in a minimal expense. What if.....

There was an email I received coming from a friend who has given me a gift that would save me money on how to drive a speedboat. And unfortunately, I was not able to use the coupon/voucher to drive a speedboat. So he decided to ask for the voucher back so he can use it with his family before it expires.

Then it came to my mind that I can do the same as what they are doing online only I will need to go Back-to-Basics. I have thought of going back-to-basics because I have observed that there are still a number of people who are not uodated with the technology or just simply dont want to accept the fact that they need to learn the fast growing knowledge in technology with our youngsters. 

Everyone wants discount as much as they can, our weekly supply of flyers from our grocery stores and other flyers with coupons are still being cut out to be submitted because it will expire soon. But do we need the product at that moment already? Probably not, but just because you can save a few cents now with the coupon you have found, why not use it before the expiration date? You might need the product in the future anyway? But wait, how do you know that it will be going to be on sale again after the coupon expires? WE DONT....

But because we have the coupon and it has an expiration date, and because we dont know what tomorrow will bring, we will use the coupon to get the discount now..... CORRECT?

A lot of people have been aspiring to be successful in this type of business but are not determine to focus on one thing and one thing only. But who are we to judge individuals actions? 

Some have not found the right shoes for them to keep walking with, thats why they keep joining different MLM companies until  they think they are fit in the right place where they can move freely and work non-stop until they reached their goals.

What are the other cause or excuses of these individuals as to why they are not getting to the level or position they want to achieve?

Why don't we search more about these issues so that we are not feeling left behind or feeling as if any business does not fit them just because they have failed to achieve their goal at their current company that they have joined into?

Why don't we congratulate those who have made their way up in the highest position and ask how they have done it?

We have our own individualities and we ought to aim for the success we believe in. Some of us prefer to stay in our comfort zone where we are satisfied to work for someone. But still some of us are still aspiring to have our own business but we don't have the guts or strength to go for it.

This one will be open to everyone's opinion on how or what they think of the Multi-Level Marketing they have joined and have success or failed.

If I could turn back time, things would be different.... 

'Maybe if I got married at the right age where I would have career, and successful. My would be husband might be successful and we would have a perfect life.'

I am sure that this is what most women would wish for in their life would be after they have made mistakes during their younger years. I myself have a lot of regrets but the only thing I don't regret was that I was given 2 most wonderful gifts from God and these are my two kids.

Yes, I may have regret that I am one of those mothers who have had kids at a young age that is currently trying to make ends meet due to numerous mistakes that have done. But it doesn't mean that I am giving up living here on the face of the earth.

THINK POSITIVE,... this is what I have been practicing since my divorce 15yrs ago. I keep fighting the good fight even there was once a time that I have totally put my faith behind. It wasnt always a positive side that i have thought about during those times when my exhusband and I were in the process of the divorced.

WHY ME????? Was my questions most of the time when I was diagnosed to have surgery for Total Hysterectomy with Interocele repair. But this didn't stop me from keep moving on. A few months before the surgery have been very difficult for me. It wasn't until I have found my FAITH that I started to have hope again to keep moving. I have had my ups and downs during my changed life but I didn't take it too hard anymore because I know in my heart 
that no matter what happens as I go on with my current and future life, He will always be by my side to guide me.... to keep reminding me that I am not alone..... to give me courage to keep moving and be strong to do the things that I believe in.......FAITH is what kept me going and to fight the challenges that came and went... I am still going through challenges... I mean everyone is going through challenges, some have tougher challenges than others and we all know that these challenges are the ones that will destroy us or makes us stronger. Either way, we cannot prevent it from happening.... 

Move on, live life to the fullest, often times we feel down but we need to keep standing up each time we fall down, put our head up and walk as if what happened, no one saw it and let everyone see that you are alright, no self pity, because GOD is always by your side, guiding you and will not leave you on your own.....

KEEP MOVING...... don't stop, never give up, if you trip and fall, get up and keep going.
